Theme Days
Monday
Favorite T-Shirt Day! Represent your club, your town, your hobby, or your favorite dulcimer during our favorite t-shirt day! It’s a great way to meet others and publicize your club! KMW t-shirts from past years are also popular to wear.
Tuesday
Colonial/Early American Day We'll take a step back in time to the early days of America. Those that want are welcome to dress in clothing of the time - peasants welcome, Native Americans, even pirates are welcome! We'll share food and music of those days, too. So bring your powdered wigs and long skirts with aprons and collars, buckskins and white, ruffled shirts and we'll celebrate the hearty souls that started our country.
Wednesday
50th Anniversary of STAR TREK Let's have a "Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before" Day, including all things space related, aliens, and more! We'll climb aboard the Starship KMW and take off to worlds unknown! Lots of trinkets will be passed out at the front door and lobby area!
Thursday
Carnival Day! Lots of fun under the big top from the fortune teller booth to the duck pond and the cake walk! Clowns abound, tight rope walkers and animal tamers, and lots more! We'll have tons of fun on this day of games and fun!
Friday
Mardi Gras Day Enjoy our lunchtime Mardi Gras Parade featuring instructors and registrants “in costume” pitching beads, coins and trinkets as they proceed through the school, ending in the cafeteria. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun!
